What I find intriguing is that Netanyahu starts out by saying there are no preconditions, and then goes on to reiterate at least four times that the Palestinians must accept Israel's right to exist as the ancestral homeland of the jews and that they are just recent interlopers who happen to live there, a concession they can never make. And then they can start talking about self determination where Israel determines everything about how the state that's not a state is to be run.
